To celebrate 100 years of the Tour de France, fashion and urban cycling, Melinda Gloss Heritage and Paris-teamed for an exclusive collaboration with Colette. Both brands have imagined a bike and handling (made suit, shirt, T-shirt, tie belt and pants) that will be a showcase of Parisian concept store, from 10 to 15 June 2013.
Melinda Gloss was founded in 2009 by Matthew Ménonville and Rémi de Laquintane. Her collections combine expertise with contemporary French typically through a mix of classic cuts and innovative materials and technical details.
Through Heritage Paris, Cyril Saulnier and Alexandre Billard brothers Simon and develop bikes dream. They work with the best French craftsmen (including Daniel Hanart, himself a former high-level cyclist) to carry bikes custom tailored to every morphology and a lifetime warranty. Respect, perfection and tradition guide each of their creations.
For this occasion, Heritage, Paris has designed a unique piece, inspired by Steve McQueen and his motorcycle Enduro bike (a real classic) manufactured in the workshops Heritage-Paris and painted in khaki, charcoal gray and chrome. Parts which are fitted exceptional: Phil Wood hubs and pedals - the Rolls Royce of pedal track - Chris King headset and Brooks saddle and handlebar tape "Patina", a Heritage Paris made exclusively in partnership with Caulaincourt Workshop.
Melinda Gloss has created a complete outfit, suitable for cycling and the city: a suit (jacket and pants) that combines the expertise and chic Melinda Gloss technical needs cycling. The jacket, wool cloth technical Holland & Sherry, is anti-froissante and anti-repellent, and has an interior zip pocket for MP3 player and a reflective fabric lined collar. Pants, cut cigarette has a downside (in reflective material) buttoned to the hem back to the bottom to facilitate pedaling. An illustrated T-shirt, shirt, belt and tie leather pants lasered complete the outfit with a 100% Parisian look.
